Collection: Tourmaline

Tourmaline is a group of boron silicate minerals that comes in almost every colour.

Varieties and Trade Names

Black tourmaline, known as schorl, is by far the most common type. Pink to red tourmaline is called rubellite, blue is indicolite, and green is verdelite. Watermelon tourmaline is pink in the centre with a green rind, and dravite is a brown variety. Tourmaline needles inside clear quartz are sold as tourmalinated quartz.

PureTrade Gems supplies wholesale tourmaline to UK shops, market traders and other trade buyers.
